She was predeceased by: her parents, Mylan Schappell and Joyce Schappell (Yeager). She is survived by: her spouse Terry L. Weidner; her daughters, Amy L. (Brandon Boyer) and Lisa M. (Jason Schaeffer); her brother Gery M. (AbbySue); and her grandchildren, Emma, Harper Schaeffer, Tyler and Codi Boyer.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. (739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at the Forest Hills Memorial Park (390 W Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606).
