He was predeceased by: his wife Royetta M. Batz (Bowers); his parents, Freeman D. C. and Eva A. Batz (Schmeck); and his siblings, Helen, Charlotte, Forrest, Florence and Claude.
He is survived by: his children, Scott J. Batz (Ruth E. Smith), Kevin R. Batz of Exeter Township, Kirk D. Batz (Jodie L. Batz) of Exeter Township and Tracey M. Gibbon (Richard T. Gibbon) of Sinking Spring; and his granddaughter Lindsey M. Gibbon.
