He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond W. Roux and Anna Mae Kapp (Harlan); and his siblings, Wendy Roux (Mertz) and Joseph Roux. He is survived by: his wife Kim A. Roux (Schlappich); his daughter Angela J. Himmelberger; his grandchildren, Sage Avalon and Vaughn Memphis; his stepfather Melvin Kapp; and his sisters, Mary Shimer (Roux) and Marsha Roux. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Married for 29 wonderful years, he and Kim created a life filled with love, laughter, and a commitment to giving back, donating to countless local charities over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 4 Girls on a Mission (local) or Operation BBQ Relief that is currently deployed to Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton devastated areas.
