He was predeceased by: his wife Muriel Brownstein (Apfelberg); his parents, Alex Brownstein and Anna Brownstein (Horenstein); and his son Andrew D. Brownstein. He is survived by: his children, Ted M. Brownstein (Christine Brownstein) of Lake Worth, Florida, Carl B. Brownstein of Shelton, Washington and Ruth M. Brownstein (Loretta Pellissier) of Olympia, Washington. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
