We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2024, at the age of 79, Marilyn E. Vojtasek of Wernersville, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Marilyn may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Waszk and Eleanor Waszk (Ziolkowski). She is survived by: her husband John A. Vojtasek; her sons, Matthew J. Vojtasek (Valerie Vojtasek) of Gilbertsville and Christopher M. Vojtasek (Penny J. Vojtasek) of Blandon; and her sister Francis Gerhard (Barry Gerhard) of Mohnton. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:45 AM at the Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church (2600 St Albans Dr, Reading, PA 19608). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692 in memory of Mrs. Marilyn E. Vojtasek.
