He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius John and Maria Jacobs (Keto); and his brother Eric Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Jacobs of Wernersville; and his children, Catherine A. Hach (Richard G. Hach) of Roanoke, Virginia, Elaine M. Runyon (Alexander "Sandy" Runyon) of New Gloucester, Maine, Janet L. Dearstyne (Kenneth E. Dearstyne) of Sinking Spring and Matthew P. Jacobs. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Phoebe Berks Chapel (1 Reading Dr, Wernersville, PA 19565).
