She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Lee Spotswood, Calvin Mitchell Smith and Rev. Cabot Manbeck Smith; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth D. Spotswood, William S. Spotswood III, Melanie M. Smith, Calvin Mitchell Smith Jr. and Christopher C. K. Smith.
