He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Slovitsky and Thelma Slovitsky (Mundy). He is survived by: his wife Lynda A. Slovitsky (Bailey); his stepchildren, Michael Conway (Carolyn), Lora (Jeffrey Lehr) and Sinking Spring; his grandchildren, Ethan, Owen Conway, Colin and Emma Lehr; his siblings, Margaret Friel and David Slovitsky (Leda); and his stepsister Terri Wilson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
