She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Macaravage and Charlotte (Rozanski); her daughter Cheryl Ann; and her brother Joseph Macaravage. She is survived by: her husband Raphael "Ralph" M. Gemzik; her sons, Brian Gemzik (Roseann) of Perkasie, Michael Gemzik (Caryn) of Willow Grove and David Gemzik (Tracey) of Norristown; and her grandchildren, Zachary, Brett, Ethan, Casey, Christen, Gabriel and Abigail.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Germaine's memory to The American Cancer Society.
