He was predeceased by: his wife Lena L. Hassler; his parents, David Hassler and Sadie Hassler Sr. (Fitterling); his daughter Donna F. Hassler; and his siblings, Harold, Grace, Ruth, Robert and Noren.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicky L. Lantz (Gary) and Sherry R. Hassler (Jason Schmidt); his granddaughter Heather J. Lantz (Christopher McNair); and his sister Peggy Schaeffer (Hassler).
