He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret A. Bortz, (West) and Richard A. Bortz, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Bortz of Reading and Danny Piotrkowski of Wernersville; his siblings, Joanna Fasig of Mohnton, Susan Mays of Leesport and Richard Bortz, Jr. of West Reading; and his granddaughter Maia Piotrkowski.
