He was predeceased by: his parent George D.; and his siblings, John, Wilbur, Ernest, Orpha Vereb, Mary Lou Pritts and Virginia Zimmerman.

He is survived by: his parent Kate E. Zimmerman (Kinsey); his wife Norma J. Zimmerman (Shumaker); his son Jeffrey Zimmerman; and his daughter-in-law Margaret Herrick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Mohrsville Church of the Brethren at the above address.
