He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Lou Ohlinger (Reedy); his parents, Robert D. Ohlinger, and Esther I. Ohlinger, Sr. (Degler); and his siblings, Paul W. Ohlinger, Robert D. Ohlinger, Jr. and Kathryn E. Reddinger.
He is survived by: his children, Carl L. Ohlinger, Jr., Connie D. (Keith Rothenberger) and Brian D. Ohlinger (Abby); his sister Helen M. Strickler; his grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon Conrad), Hilary (Douglas Weaver), Bradley Ohlinger (Amy) and Natalie Ohlinger; and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Graydon Conrad.
