She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert P. and Mary E. Emig (Krout); and her husband Richard C. Karns. She is survived by: her children, Robert E. Karns of Wellsville, Donald L. Karns of Franklintown, Steven M. Karns of Dillsburg, Barbara A. Herr of Lebanon, Phyl J. Minishak of Mechanicsburg and Pamela K. Hostetler of St. Petersburg, FL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
