With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Michael Hoffman of Wellsville, Pennsylvania, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 4, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood F Hoffman and Margaret M Hoffman (Bair); and his brothers, Philip, John, William and Gregory Hoffman.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel A McCachren (Aubri) of Wellsville and Robert E McCachren; his grandchildren, Ashlynn, Audan and Daisy McCachren; and his siblings, Francis Hoffman (Anna Mae) of SpringGrove, Kay Stonesifer (Alan) of Hanover, Joanne Schneider (Charles) of Hanover, Carolyn Baugher (Randy) of Hanover and Barbara Thornton (Michael) of New Oxford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Steve was a very active member of his church and was known for doing charity work especially at Hanover Council of Churches.
