It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard M. Sherwood (Wellsville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 8, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Sherwood and Mable Simmons Sherwood; his sisters, Valda Helmhold, Wilma Robbins and Beatrice Hazzard; and his son-in-law Guy Coats.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian L. Perkins; and his children, Sharri Weirich (Wendell) of Wellsville, Timothy R. Sherwood (Darlene) of Hallsport, Randy Sherwood (Sandy) of Bradford, PA, Joan Pakis (Donald) of Hallsport, Fran Sherwood (Deborah) of Campbell and Christine Coats of Hallsport. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
