With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia L. Stocum of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, born in Blossburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 12, 2021 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Wilson and Rhea "Vivian" Wilson (Weber). She is survived by: her husband Duane O. Stocum; her children, Duane R. Stocum (Beverly) of Wellsboro and Jessica L. Gesford of Stony Fork; her grandchildren, Kelsey, Lizzie, Dakota Gesford, Benjamin, Ariana and Naomi Stocum; her great grandchild Axell Lane; and her siblings, Tim Wilson (Glory), Rhea Shelman and Lisa Vargeson (Steve). She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Route 6, Wellsboro, PA 16901 to help the family with funeral expenses.
