He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Sylvester and Evelyn Briggs (Reese); his parents-in-law, Nola Burtch and Charles Burtch; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Osgood and Claudia Bowers.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca of Wellsboro; his children, Chris Briggs of Williamsport, Cameron Hubbard (Alex) of Scranton, Karen Walter (Joseph) of New Hope, PA and Lauren Morral (Chris) of Wellsboro; his grandchildren, Griffin, Grady Morral of Wellsboro, Rhett, Mitchell Walter of New Hope, Cecelia and Charlotte Hubbard of Scranton; and his sisters, Sylvia McHenry (Robert), Connie Cooper (Mark), Laura Osgood and Kay Cooper (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
