She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Harold K. Evans and Mary K. Evans (Allen). She is survived by: her significant other Clifford Tubbs of Westfield, PA; and her children, George Dempsey, Jr. (Kathi) of Aurora, CO, Jim Dempsey (Debbie) of Stonington, CT and Sheila Hawkins (Jeff) of Manassas, VA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
