It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard M. Zugarek (Wellsboro, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Yuroslav Zugarek and Joyce Zugarek (Burdis); his sister Christina Harrington; his wife Elaine Zugarek (Eberhart); his children, Graham Zugarek (Jae) and Gwendolyn Zugarek (Matthew Wright); his granddaughter Alice Jean Wright; and his stepgrandsons, Keith Tester and Charlie Boehme-Byrd (Ethan).
Visitation with his family will be at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA on Friday, January 7, from 6-8pm, and a Catholic mass will be held for him on Saturday, January 8 at 9:30am at St. Peter's. All participants and visitors will be required to wear masks and maintain 6 feet distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Samaritan House (St Peter's, Wellsboro), Moosehaven School (Order of the Moose, Wellsboro), St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or a charity of one's choice.
