He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Smith and Anna Smith (Hughes); his grandson Bobby Jo Rogers; and his siblings, Nancy Starkweather, Ron, Walter, Rick and Robert LeRoy Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Katie Smith of Antrim; his children, Richard Calvin Smith (LaVon) of Mansfield, Susan Faulkner (Brian) of Wellsboro, Deb Rogers (David Tubbs) of Morris and Kathy Phippen (Floyd) of Mansfield; and his brothers, Gene Smith of Wellsboro, Bernard Smith (Betty) of Wellsboro and Tom Smith (Bonnie) of Mansfield. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
