“I was fortunate to be a friend and a neighbor of Mike for many years. We were in the same class back in school. In 11th grade we were both on the track team together. He told me that he wanted to be involved in a sport in high school. I enjoyed the long bus trips singing songs. The Beach Boys and the Beatles were some of our favorites. Later we were neighbors, and our dogs would play together. As our dogs played in our yard Mike and I would talk about things. I was always glad to see him. RIP”
