She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd C. Carpenter; her parents, Orey West and Cleo Hayes (Rice); her daughter Susan M. Brocious; and her brothers, Carleton Hayes and Lawrence Hayes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gee (John) of Middlebury Center, Sandra Moffett (Mark) of Middlebury Center and Debbie Kearse (John) of Gaines; her son-in-law Robert Brocious of Raleigh, NC; and her nephew Gerald Hayes of Florida. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.
Memorial donations can be made in Mary Lou's name to the Shared Home, 27 Bacon Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901, in honor of the outstanding care and support provided to Mary Lou and her family.
