He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar and Esther Hamm (Miller); his wife Sharon L. Hamm of Wellsboro, PA; his daughter Sarah Schmitt (Matt) of Southborough, MA; his brother Michael Hamm (Alice) of Wellsboro, PA; his siblings-in-law, Joanne Hamm of Morgan City, LA and Dave Smith of Wellsboro, PA; and his siblings, Marlin Hamm, Mark Hamm and Eddie Smith.
