He was predeceased by: his parents, George Garner and Ruth Garner (Finnegan); and his siblings, Dr. John Garner and Mary Catherine Garner. He is survived by: his wife Tammy L. Huntley; his daughters, Jeanne Murray of San Diego, CA, Jasmine Garner of Port Jervis, NY, Emily Garner of Florida, Kristen Garner of Washington, D. C. and Mary Catherine Garner of Wellsboro; his sisters, Susan McNulty of Lemont, IL, Margaret Haggard of Potsdam, NY and Joan Garner of Potsdam, NY; and his grandchildren, Evelyn, Kelly, Vance and Riley.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions in Marshall's name be made to the Adirondack Mountain Club, 814 Goggins Rd, Lake George, NY 12845.
