Peterson of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, born in Covington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Kenneth Youmans and Celia Youmans; her husband Neuman J Peterson; her siblings, Edward Youmans and Doris Brigham; her brothers-in-law, John Brigham and Jerome Peterson; her nephew Michael Peterson; her niece Bonnie Phillips; and her great grandchild Christian Lambert.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Peterson (Anita) of Wellsboro, Kent Peterson (Dorothy) of Hoschton, GA and LuAnn Hetherington (Francis) of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, Christopher Peterson (Jennifer), Laura Bledsoe (DJ), Erin Peterson (Autumn), R. Joseph Peterson (Kristen Likel) and Evelyn Lambert (Jeffrey); her stepgrandsons, William Humble, Christopher Humble, Frank Hetherington (Carly), Brian Hetherington and Jonathan Hetherington (Maria); and her sister-in-law Mary Peterson of Wellsboro. She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home (139 Main St, Wellsboro, PA 16901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
