He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tarszowicz and Elizabeth Tarszowicz (Zuzel). He is survived by: his son Joseph Tarszowicz (Janice) of Ellicottville, NY; his grandson Joseph Tarszowicz of Ames, IA; and his sisters, Kathleen Hayden (Don) of Wellsboro and Rosalee Tarszowicz of Wellsboro.

His family requests donations in Joseph's name to be made to the Disabled American Veterans Organization (DAV).
