She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Bowers and Lenora "Patsy" Bowers (Patt); her husband Eugene Getgen; her sisters, Sheila Graham and Sarah Husted; and her children, Lewis "Chuck" Getgen and Jean Marie Getgen.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Getgen (Sue) of Wellsboro, Mike Getgen (Linda) of Blossburg, Dave Getgen (Polly) of Wellsboro, Nora Demusz (Craig) of Wellsboro and Glenda Hart (Randy) of Wellsboro; her brother Lewis Bowers (Cindy) of Wellsboro; and her friend Nina Mae Copley. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and close cousins.
