He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thorne and Ruby Thorne (Jones); his brother Art Thorne of Westfield, PA; and his siblings-in-law, John McNeill, David Inghram and Bessie Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Crystle Thorne (Monroe); his children, Wendy Stevens (Gene) of Ulysses, PA and David Meyers (Joan) of Gettysburg, PA; his siblings, Aaron Thorne of Galeton, PA, Barbara McNeill of Osceola, PA and Betty Inghram of Haines City, FL; and his sister-in-law Pat Thorne of Galeton. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
