Helen L. West Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen L. West of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Helen leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Helen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Peake and Laura Peake (Youmans); her husband Walter H. West; and her siblings, Merrill Peake and Beverly Vallejos.
She is survived by: her son Robert M. West (Kimberly) of Mansfield; and her sister Carol Turner of Frederick, MD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home (139 Main St, Wellsboro, PA 16901). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggest memorial contributions in Helen's name be made to the Second Chance Animal Rescue, 725 Gee Rd., Tioga, PA 16946.
