She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Parton and Selma Parton (Webb). She is survived by: her children, Bernard E. Simmons (Kathy) of Wellsboro, Gloria Shelmire (James) of Wellsboro and Karry Simmons of Wellsboro; and her brothers, Carl Parton of Richmond, VA and George Parton (Margaret) of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
