With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Prouty of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 12, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bush and Gertrude Bush (Harper); her former husband Elmer Hand; her daughter Lola Walls; and her granddaughter Angel Bohart.
She is survived by: her husband Ken Prouty of Wellsboro; her children, Edward Hand (Lucinda) of Magnolia, TX, Steve Hand (Krista) of Wellsboro, Diana Bohart of Wellsboro and Jennifer Arndt (Michael) of Lexington, SC; her stepchildren, Wayne Prouty of Galeton, Brad Prouty (Sharon) of Mansfield, Sylvia Prouty of Gaines and Rhonda Bryington of Gaines; and her sister Beatrice Hurlburt of Andover, NY.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; 30 step-great-grandchildren.
