It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene T. Makin of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Makin and Velma Makin (Wood); his son Steven Makin; and his siblings, Jerry Makin, Robert Makin, Dorothy Mosher and Arlene Ames.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Makin of Interlachen, FL, Charles Kemp of Erie, PA, Randy Mason, Gloria Hall (Dennis) of Wellsboro and Jamie Barnes of Mansfield; and his daughter-in-law Toni Makin of Wellsboro. He is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
