He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Vanderhoof and Hazel R. Vanderhoof (West); his wife Vera E. Root; and his brother Oliver Vanderhoof. He is survived by: his children, Mahlon Vanderhoof (Carole) of Chester, NY and Verla Bryant (George) of Wellsboro. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
