He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwynn G. Akey Sr. and Beverly Akey (Cook); his sister Beverly J. Hitman; and his nephew John G. Hitman. He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Bartle (TJ) of Wellsboro, PA; his grandchildren, Austin, Taylor, Braden, Cameron and Emberlee; his sister Ramona Winters of Wellsboro, PA; and his cousin Carrie Unrue. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
