With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith J. (Greener) Metarko (Wellsboro, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 10, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond R. Greener and Helen E. Franck (Riday); and her siblings, Helen Wallace and Carl Franck, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Bob Metarko of Quakertown, PA; her children, Bette Gombar (Douglas) of Perkasie, PA, Raymond Keck (Theresa) of Perkasie, PA and Greg Metarko (Toma) of Erin, NY; her grandchildren, Gregory, Megan, Kristin, Ryan, Eric and Kelly; her adoptive son Jon Solheim (Lisa) of Willow Grove, PA; her siblings, Bette LoPresti (Bruno), Eric Franck (Joann) and Kevin Franck; and her stepsister Barbara DeFlavis. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
