He is survived by: his wife Adele Young (Schepp) of Wellsboro, PA; his daughter Meredith Canning (Brian) of Hendersonville, NC; his sisters, Sheilah Prevost of South Norwalk, CT and Virginia Gill of Huntingdon, PA; and his grandchildren, Grace Canning, Katherine Canning and Matthew Canning. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
