He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Carleton and Ethel M. Carleton (Stermer). He is survived by: his children, Chris Carleton (Marion) of Poinciana, FL, Tim Carleton (Kathy) of Danville, PA, Rob Carleton (Barb) of Mansfield, PA and Jill Wheeler (Kirk) of Middlebury Center, PA; his grandchildren, Steve Carleton (Erika Arriola), Mike Carleton, Dr. Amanda Carleton Ferguson (Adam), Megan Carleton, Nikki Carleton, Casey Carleton (Jeremy Romaneo), Kirk Wheeler (Ashley), Kristi Reynolds (Andy), Kelsie Wheeler, Kami Peet (Ryan), Kiley Johnson and Rani Simpson (Alec); and his great grandchildren, Haley, Abby, Peyton, Hannah, Mya, Edith, Jameson and Hazel.
