Leidy of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, born in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Leidy and Mary Ellen Leidy (Blattenberger); his son-in-law Jason Carson; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph "Bud" McIlvaine and W. Brian Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Foster; his children, Christopher W. Leidy of Smithsburg, MD, Kelly Leidy Carson of Wellsboro, Jan F. Rutledge (Howard) of Wellsboro and Erin C. Leidy of Ithaca, NY; and his siblings, R. Grant Leidy (Janese) of Shamong, NJ, Coleen M. Langguth (David) of Altoona, Eileen R. McIlvaine and E. Loreen Wogan (Danny) of Altoona. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home (139 Main St, Wellsboro, PA 16901). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church (3536 Nauvoo Rd, Liberty, PA 16930).
