Betty Faivre Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2021, at the age of 84, Betty Faivre of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, born in Gaines, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence M. Prouty and Naomi Prouty (Sobers); her husband Frederick W. Faivre; and her sister Priscilla Prouty. She is survived by: her daughters, Allyson Hawk of Troy and Diane McChesney (Michael) of Gaines; her son-in-law Robert Hawk of Wellsboro; her siblings, Thomas Prouty (Diane) of Ulysses and Kathleen Hastings (Ralph) of Galeton; and her grandchildren, Brandon McChesney (Tina), Myles Hawk and Clarissa Hawk. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
