It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Shumway of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arthur Shumway to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter A. Shumway and Esther Shumway (Vance); and his brothers, Roy and Elwin Shumway. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann of Wellsboro; his sons, William Shumway (Jan) of Wellsboro, Robert Shumway (Diane) of Sugar Run, PA and Russell Shumway (Amy) of Livermore, CO; and his brother Howard Shumway of Watkins Glen, NY.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
