He was predeceased by: his parents, Perley Kriner and Grace Kriner (Gitchell); and his siblings, Marion Torpy, Arlene Johns, James Kriner, Lyle Kriner, Basil Kriner, Arnold Kriner, Charles Kriner and Donald Kriner.

He is survived by: his sisters, Dorothy Blackburn and Linda Hanson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
