He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshal Witt and Nellie Witt (Emerick); his wife Shirley "Liz" Witt (Cessna); his daughter Carla Jean Witt; his granddaughter Jennifer Ann Witt; his sister Elsie Hilliard; and his pet Molly.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Witt (Bonnie) of Mt. Savage, Karen Woods (William) of Wellersburg and Laurie Sechriest (Philip) of Wellersburg; and his granddaughter Lanie. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.
