It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George J. Sholter Jr. of Weikert, Pennsylvania, born in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George J. Sholter, Sr. and Sarah Sholter (Galer); his wife Linda M. Keister; his sons, Ricky A. Sholter (Samantha Guffey) of Lewisburg and Rodney H. Sholter (Tracy Miller Sholter) of Mifflinburg; his grandson Jacob Sholter of Mifflinburg; his stepgrandson Joshua Frank of Selinsgrove; his stepgreat-grandson Jackson Frank; and his sisters, Sandra Mills of Lock Haven and Gayle Sholter Ulrich of MIfflinburg.
