She was predeceased by: her parents, Orin Short and Erma Foster Short; her daughter Mary Wangler; her siblings, Estle Short, Viola Crosby, Vesta Lowish, Leila Wemhoff and Phyllis Richardson; and her son-in-law Todd Asher.
She is survived by: her spouse Gerald Francis Wangler; her children, Roger Wangler (Margaret) of Palm Desert, CA, Mark Wangler (Patricia) of Omaha, NE, Rex Wangler (Susan) of Spirit Lake, IA, Neil Wangler (Deborah) of Bonner Springs, KS and Polly Asher; and her brothers, Gary Short (Harriet) of Independence, IA and Robert Short (Sandy) of Laurel, MT. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
