He is survived by: his spouse Marita; his children, Maribeth, Jeffrey and Regina (Rob Zlomke); his grandchildren, Natalie Jayne, Robert Jayne, Maddison Jayne and Avery Jayne; and his great grandchild Vivian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that all memorials be directed to the Robert J. Doerning educational scholarship fund for WCHS graduates or to St. Thomas Aquinas School.
