He is survived by: his parents, Walter Carpenter and Florence Miller Carpenter; his wife Barbara of Webster City; his children, Vicki Meyer (Joe) of Fort Dodge, Dave Carpenter (Trisha), Rob Carpenter (Diana) and Steve Carpenter; his grandchildren, Jennifer Condon (Jeremiah), Mitchell Carpenter (Chelsie), Kevin Ryan, Tyler Carpenter, Ashley Throntveit (Thomas), Megan Carpenter and Austin Carpenter; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Lundy (Larry) of Webster City, Darlene Mesecher of Fort Dodge and Linda Mesecher of Nevada.
