It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Paul Asmus (Webster, Pennsylvania), born in Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on February 11, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his children, Brian Asmus (Carla) of Omaha, Jill Schumacher (Michael) of Omaha and Todd Asmus (Therese) of Chisago City; his grandchildren, Dylan Asmus, Ethan Asmus, Luke, James, Henry, Lillie Schumacher, Noah, Isabella, Amayah and Nadia Asmus; and his siblings-in-law, Harlen Persinger of Milwaukee, Colene Ferrin of Marshalltown and Donna Asmus of Arthur. He is also survived by his parents, and his brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Asbury United Methodist Church in Webster City, the Iowa 4-H Foundation, or Kindred Hospice in Fort Dodge.
