She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Balsley; her daughter Connie Balsley; her siblings, Richard Cook, Bernard Cook, Norman Cook, Melvin Cook, Albert Cook and Ileen Lybarger; and her brother-in-law Roger Balsley.
She is survived by: her parents, James Cook and Lizzie Burbank Cook; her daughter Eileen Whitehill (Ivan) of Fort Dodge; her granddaughter Gina Balsley of Webster City; her great grandchild Christopher Anderson of Webster City; her brother Don Cook of California; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Merz of Fort Dodge, Judy Kunz of Traer and Berneta Balsley of Webster City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
