He is survived by: his daughter Carol; his wife Shirley; his daughter Karen Hanson; his granddaughter Jennifer Mitts (Aaron Jordan); and also, West Des Moines, Carol Mitts (Jeff), Glenwood, Ames, Dick Gustafson, Carolyn Gustafson, Jim and Fred Murphy. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
